Trio offered deals - Strachan

24th March 2008
Excel Hull Stingrays coach Rick Strachan has confirmed he has made contract offers to three players about returning next season.

Stingrays ended their bmibaby Elite League campaign with a 6-2 victory over Manchester Phoenix at Hull Arena - their fourth successive home win.

But Strachan said: "There will definitely be some changes. I look at guys over the season and see who can play under adversity and some guys did and some guys didn't. There are some guys who you can count on and they are the guys who played consistently for the whole season.

"It's not my style to say who we have offered contracts to but there are definitely three guys who we have talked to and we will see what happens."
