Glowa vows to end on high

12th March 2008
Excel Hull Stingrays captain Jeff Glowa is determined to end the season on a positive note after hopes of reaching the bmibaby Elite League play-offs came to an end.

Stingrays go into their final three games - at Nottingham Panthers on Saturday before home encounters with Cardiff Devils and Manchester Phoenix - with just pride to play for.

Glowa said: "We will play to win, like we always do, and it will be good to pick up a couple of wins and end on a positive note.

"But it's going to be a long summer. This season will weigh on people's minds a bit but when they go home and see their families it will ease the pain. But you have to learn by your mistakes and look to the future."
