Mitchell happy in Hull
The 21-year-old forward, who will have keyhole surgery to clean up a knee-cartilage problem next month, has become the club's first signing for the 2008/09 bmibaby Elite League campaign after returning for a fourth successive year. He said: "Hull is the best option for me. I get plenty of ice time and you need that if you are going to get into the GB set-up. I am given the chance to play on the powerplay and penalty kill and play against some of the best players in the league. "Getting in the GB side is definitely something I am looking to do. I would like to think I would have been in the squad for the World Championships this year had I not got injured but these things happen." |
